Product Overview
ASU (Non-Armored Uni-Tube) optical cable is designed for reliable and cost-effective outdoor fiber optic communication. The fibers are housed in a loose buffer tube filled with moisture-blocking jelly to prevent water ingress and migration. The cable is covered with a durable black polyethylene (PE) outer jacket for superior environmental protection. Two embedded strength members—either FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or metallic wires—provide excellent tensile strength, ensuring stable performance even in challenging environments.
